As previously announced on Evoitalia Blog is now available the new version Nuke Evolution Basic 2.0.7 Italian version. This update also substantially if no big news, is the prelude of next Basic version 2.1.0, in fact the substantial newness of the Basic 2.0.6 and 2.0.7 is that later was inserted HTML Purifier, a major library Php useful for keeping always clean, a standards-compliant and free from intrusion malignant HTML generated by the CMS, the Sentinel has been updated, fisubsilversh our default theme for versions Italians has been updated and made compatible for this version, but we is not over decided to give two mods already installed by default in the theme fisubsilversh, is the mod Clock Replace Whosonline and mod Wikipedia bbcode Evo.

This is a BETA fix because I have made some
major changes to the system and I want to make sure that it works
correctly. As such this should only be undertaken if you feel
comfortable testing something out. If no problems are found we will
make it an offical fix.
What it changes:
HTML purifier is off if the user is an admin and in the admin area (this will allow message, blocks, etc to not get purified)

HTML purifier now only loads when it detects a reason to do so. This should speed things up.

We never wanted to release something with this many bugs but UTF-8 turned into a situation where depending on your setup it caused situations we had not expected. Because of all the issues I am putting out a new release to encapsulate all the fixes instead of continuing to put out fix after fix. It also pointed out the fact some of you are using hosts that are WAY behind in their upgrades!!! It should be noted the this release now requires you to be using MySQL 4.1.x or greater. Sorry folks but some of you need to get your hosts to upgrade. Even MySQL.com isn't supporting < 4.1.x.
